Mr. Phenomenon, Mike Super

Currently a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians Illusionist Mike Super comes to SLU this very evening!

Presented by Student Activities Board. Don’t miss this amazing, interactive magic experience with the winner of NBC’s hit “Phenomenon.”

Rowing Interest Meetings

SLU’s rowing team is looking for new members!  Rowing is a fantastic way to stay in shape and meet fun new people.  There is no previous experience necessary.  They’re hosting two meetings this coming week, September 2nd and 3rd at 7pm in Ritter Hall Rm. 29.

Work for Campus Rec!

The Department of Campus Recreation invites you to attend one of its Student Employment Recruitment Sessions the first week of school. To learn about all of the unique job opportunities that the department of Campus Recreation offers, the benefits of on-campus employment, and a chance to ask questions and meet current staff before interviews take place.  These informational sessions are open to any SLU student who is interested in working for the Department of Campus Recreation any time this year.

We will be holding three session per night on Tuesday the 26th, Wednesday the 27th, and Thursday the 28th. These informational sessions are 30 minutes in length and begin at 6:00pm, 6:45pm and 7:30pm.

Where: The Simon Recreation Center- main level classroom

Although these sessions are not mandatory for student employment we highly encourage you to attend one of these meetings so you can be well informed about working during your time at SLU and be better prepared if you are chosen for an interview.

Interested In Making A Difference In Society With It?

How About $2000 To Make It A Reality?

Bright Ideas Grants, a new social entrepreneurship program for students, will be launching this Fall.

The “B.I.G.” program is designed serve as an outlet for the innovative and socially-minded bright ideas of Saint Louis University students. Through practical experiences, discussions, and educational workshops, students will be provided with the resources to turn their these ideas into impactful, sustainable social ventures.

Grants will be awarded to two winners at the end of the year. Students can apply either individually or as a group.

Interested students can attend one of three info sessions:

- Wed. August 27th, 7-8pm, Cook Hall 236
- Fri. August 29th, 4-5pm, BSC 256
- Tues. September 9th, 6-7pm, BSC 253A
