I AM IRON MAN

The Student Activities Board is hosting their first outdoor film of the semester this Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 9pm.   Bring a friend and join everyone in the Quad.  It’s FREE and it’s Iron Man, need I say more?

SLU Global Medical Brigades

The Global Medical Brigades is hosting an informational meeting open to all students to discuss their annual medical brigade to Honduras.  What’s a brigade?  From thier site:

We are a socially conscience network of volunteers who want to make a difference.  A grass roots movement all over the country providing supporting health care and infrastructure solutions in the world’s poorest countries.

Attend either Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 8pm or Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7pm.  The meeting will be held in Ritter Hall Rm. 320.

Busch Student Center Open House

All students are welcome to come see the improvements to the Busch Student Center, including the new Student Success Center and Student Involvement Suites.  Check out new lunchtime entertainment that is provided throughout the year.

Visit BSC vendors such as Walter Knoll Florist and Gifts, Custom Cuts Hair Salon, US Bank, and Barnes and Nobles Bookstore and experience the services that they have to offer.  Grab lunch and enjoy a quick visit to the heart of campus.  Various vendors and offices will be offering drawings for give-a-ways as well so don’t forget to visit them.

The BSC open house takes place Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
