Want to learn more about carpooling to campus or taking public transportation to get to work?
Saint Louis University is hosting a fair next week to highlight alternative transportation options in St. Louis.
Hosted by SLU’s transportation services department, the fair will feature representatives from Metro, RideFiders and Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT). The department also will be available to discuss the University’s shuttle system and other internal transportation services.
“Today’s focus on gas prices and environmental and sustainability issues have brought increasing attention to alternative transportation,” said Ann Benson, Manager for Parking, Card, & Transportation Services. “We want to remind everyone about the transportation options and services that are available to members of the SLU community.”
The fair will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9, in the north lobby of Busch Student Center.
