New Content Writer

colin-photo

Hello everyone!

Looks like SLU Connection has a new content writer. My name is Colin Shevlin and I’ll be posting articles and other cool stuff to SLU Connection this semester.

I’m a Sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences and I just got back from a much enjoyed semester at SLU’s campus in Madrid.

This semester I’m looking to make SLU Connection as awesome as possible, so if you have articles, suggestions, events, cool videos you made, not so cool videos you made, pictures you took or anything else relating at all to life at SLU, send it in!

I’m looking forward to a good semester, I hope you guys are too!

Colin

Ever wanted to learn karate? Already a martial artist and need a place to work out? Come check out the SLU Karate Club!

Started back in 1991, SLU Karate was formed to teach students self-defense while teaching the traditional Korean style Tang Soo Do. The current instructors are both 3rd degree black belts.

Classes start today Monday, January 26, 2009 at 7:30pm in the Simon Rec. Center (Multipurpose Room 1 on the lower level) and will continue every Monday and Thursday, same time.

Remember, no experience is necessary! Email slu.karate.ninja@gmail.com for more info or just show up to class!
