Vote in the Upcoming Primaries

Primary elections for the city of St. Louis mayoral and aldermanic Candidates are just around the corner. Anyone registered to vote at the BSC can vote in this election.

Polls will be open in the BSC on Tuesday, March 3rd, from 6 am to 7 pm.

Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry

The Saint Louis University Knights of Columbus will be selling fish, chips, and soda near the clocktower on every Friday during Lent (February 27th-April 3rd). 

Through the Fish Fry students have an opportunity to support SLU and St. Louis communities and enjoy some great food. Money raised this year will go to the SLU Students for Life and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. 

The money that goes to SLU Students for Life will be used in their Pregnant and Parenting Students Scholarship and the St. Vincent DePaul Society to which they will be donating is located on South Grand.

Free Hearing Screening

Say whaaaat?

The department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is having a free hearing check in McGannon Hall. Come by to meet some CSD graduate students and find out if that Lil’ Wayne concert had any lasting after-effects

The screenings will be this Friday, February 27th, from 10 am to 12 pm and Saturday, February 28th, from 10 am to 3 pm. The screenings will be in the Speech and Hearing Clinic of McGannon Hall.

Blackboard Maintenance Scheduled

 

In order to continue fastidiously serving we the students of Saint Louis University, Blackboard is undergoing scheduled maintenance from 10-10:30 pm on Sunday, March 1. That’s 5-5:30 am on Monday in Madrid.

Interfaith Alliance

SLU is home to a new interfaith group: Interfaith Alliance. The focus of the group is to promote religious pluralism among all faith traditions. 

Their first meeting will be this Thursday, February 26th at 7:30 pm in Ritter Hall 320. They will be discussing more detailed information about their goals as a club and holding a brief discussion. People of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to come. They’ve also got a group up and running on facebook for you kids out on the internets: “SLU Interfaith Alliance”. 

Stop by, learn about other faith traditions, and help a new club grow!
