In conjuction with their annual philanthropy week Delta Gamma is selling Cardinals vs. Mets tickets for April 22nd at 7:15 pm.
Tickets are $25 each and all proceeds go to help Service for Sight, which aids people with visual impairments.

The Office of Student Conduct and the Mediation and Advocacy program have several leadership opportunities available for next year for students with good communicative and interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities and academic record.
Involvement in these positions will assist students in better developing their leadership skills and gaining a deeper understanding of what it means to be men and women for others, and will provide the student with the opportunity to effect positive changes in the lives of their peers.
Positions available are: Student Conduct Board member, Student Conduct Board Chair-Elect, Student Advocate. Applications are available in the Office of Student Conduct, Rm 313, and online at the Office’s website.

The Keynote Speaker for the 2009 Atlas Week Signature Symposium will be Emmanuel Jal. He will deliver the Keynote Address, “From a Child of War to a Voice for Peace”, Wednesday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bush Student Center Ballroom.
Prior to the address, Emmanuel Jal will hold a book signing from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. of his newly released book, War Child: A Child Soldier’s Story. A private reception with Emmanuel Jal will be held following the Signature Symposium.

Chaifetz Arena has a summer Event Internship available starting May 2009. The Event Intern will gain valuable experience in the Sports and Entertainment industry by working in the Events Management Department.
Interns play an integral role in everyday processes of arena operations and the successful execution of arena events. The intern must be organized, motivated, and able to work well under pressure situations.
Open to sophomore, junior, senior, and graduate college students. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must have ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks.
Full-Time. Flexible hours. Must be available nights and weekends.
Compensation: Unpaid
Duration: May to August 2009

This Friday the International Student Federation (ISF) and the Cross-Cultural Center will cap off Atlas Week with the ever popular Billiken World Festival.
The Parade of Nations kicks off the Billiken World Festival activities. Fr. Biondi will lead the parade as Grand Marshall followed by local high school marching bands and SLU students carrying flags from around the world.
At the Billiken World Festival, international student groups put up colorful booths displaying cultural artifacts and sell ethnic foods from their respective countries.
The Billiken World Fair is the first large-scale diversity program organized on campus, with more than 40 different student groups, university departments and over eighteen hundred students coming together in a celebration of culture and diversity.
