Is Your Room Worth a View?

roomworthaview_web

Got a sweet pad? A mini-fridge? Chili Pepper Christmas lights? A disco ball? You got Mario Kart up in there?

Submit photos of your killer digs to SLU Connection! We’re scouring SLU for the coolest rooms in each res hall. Enter yourself! Enter your friends! Enter that kid who you haven’t seen since last semester but he’s got a sweet plasma TV!

The submissions deadline is April 17th. We’ll select the best from each residence hall and open it up to a campus-wide vote for the best room on campus. We’ll be posting the pictures online for voting, so don’t submit anything that would upset your mother. The winner will be featured in a Cribs-style video posted on Housing and Residence Life’s website produced by yours truly.

Send in submissions here. Good luck!

She and her husband (a native of a pacific island) are coming to discuss Kirbati, an island nation which is, at its highest point, only 6 feet above sea level. The effects of global warming are obvious to the 200,000 people of this island as they are loosing shoreline quickly.

Their presentation, a part of Atlas Week, will take place Tuesday, March 31, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in Busch Student Center 253B.

Make sure to be a part of this important event and all of the other great Atlas Week events!
