Spring Break is barely behind us, but fundraising for next year’s mission trips has already begun!

This Wednesday from 12-1:30pm at the clock tower, Campus Ministry and Enterprise Rent-A-Car are teaming up for a grill-out to raise money for Campus Ministry’s mission trip program.

Come by for some grilled food and some time to chill before finals begin! For more information, contact Ben Smyth 977-1532, smythbk@slu.edu.

Room Worth a View Contest Results

We have a winner.

Based on your votes of the submissions, it appears that Mr. Robert Moehle in Marchetti East 1207 has the coolest room on campus. Thanks to everyone who voted!

Molly Dennis followed Robert in second place with her room on 8 Gries. Kasia Sullivan came in third with her place in DeMatt and Joe Beaty came in fourth with his pad in Reinert.

I think it’s safe to say that Robert really wanted this one.

Here are some more photos of the winning room. Look for a video featuring the room coming soon!

SLU is Looking For Student Bloggers

cwestdnts249

Are you a good writer? Like to express yourself? Love being a student at Saint Louis University?

University Marketing and Communications is looking for students interested in adding their voices to the University’s blogs. The goal is to invite current students to share their experiences at SLU so that prospective students can get a sense of what it’s really like here.

Successful bloggers are good writers with something to say – and the stamina to continue saying it. In this case, you’ll also need the ability to show how much you love SLU and the desire to show the diversity of experiences here.

If you’re interested, please e-mail Amy Garland, University Web marketing coordinator, at garlanda@slu.edu.

Wednesday, April 29th, stop by the farmers’ market outside of Terra Ve and support local farmers. Also, drop by Gries wednesday for a Luau BBQ.
