Over on the True SLU Blogs the students are getting ready for the summer. Alyssa, a business school student, talks about influential people and the bittersweet joy of seeing friends celebrating their commencement.
To culminate four, five, or six years of study into one ceremony seems impossible to do, but I thought that commencement really honors these students that have worked so hard. From seeing the difference our graduating seniors have made on campus or within the St. Louis community, I can’t wait to see what an influential difference they will have after graduation.
She also talks about this years commencement speaker, the influential humanitarian and author Greg Mortenson.
