Global Day of Prayer

From Newslink:

Thousands of St. Louis Christians will visit Chaifetz Arena at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 31, to join millions of Christians worldwide in prayer for personal repentance, healing, and transformation of their communities as part of the Global Day of Prayer.

The Global Day of Prayer is celebrated with prayers and music that include both traditional and contemporary songs. Prayers will include liturgical, spontaneous, congregational, small group, one on one, singing and silent.

Banners and flags will be carried by praise and dance teams. Song lyrics and scenes from around the world will be seen on the Chaifetz Arena scoreboards. There will be no speeches, sermons, or homilies, and no one will be introduced by title or affiliation.
