SLU Salvage Drive 2009

recycleRemember as you move out to donate any unwanted items to the SLU Salvage Drive, hosted by Just Earth!

Almost anything is taken: Furniture, clothes, food, school supplies, and much more! Remember the salvage drive before you throw anything away!

Look for a salvage drive site near you!
Gries, Reinert, Dematt, Margueritte and Fusz: Look for the Blue tent!

Village upper and lower quads and Marchetti west: Sites are under breezeways!

Grand Forest: Look for the white tent!

Most of the goods collected are picked up by Goodwill daily. The food is being given to the Saint Vincent De Paul Society and the school supplies are being sent to Ghana by Students United For Africa to support their school.

The Historic Cupples House Hosts ‘Rooms In Bloom’

The Historic Samuel Cupples House is pleased to host its third annual Rooms in Bloom, sponsored by the St. Louis Florists Network. The floral feast begins on Thursday May 14 at 5:30 p.m. and continues until Sunday, May 17. A patio reception featuring the jazz trio, The Silk Pajamas, will be held on Thursday, May 14, beginning at 5: 30 p.m.

Once again, members of the St. Louis Florists Network will showcase their talent and draw their inspiration from the elegant décor of the 42-room Victorian mansion as they design floral works of art that complement the rooms and areas throughout Cupples House. The flowers and fragrances of spring will cross-pollinate with the art and ambiance of the Historic Samuel Cupples House to create the perfect oasis for a relaxing afternoon.

For more information please call Mary Marshall at 314.977.2666 or visit cupples.slu.edu.
