SLU Connection just received this presidential message from Michael Harriss, SGA President, on the red phone:
We would like to extend an invitation to you for the Student Activity Fee Town Hall, which is being hosted by the Student Government Association. The event is tomorrow, October 1st, from 7:00 – 8:30 in the Wool Ballrooms of the Busch Student Center.
This is your opportunity to find out where that $90 you pay into the Student Activity Fee actually goes! We will start the evening with a general overview of what the fee is, which will then lead us to a discussion of the ways that you can get money from this fund, and the ways it has been allocated in the past.
Another important topic that will be discussed is some future options that might be taken in regards to the Student Activity Fee. We want to hear what you as a SLU student—who is paying this fee—has to say about how it is being used and how we should use it in the future. This is your chance to tell us how to spend your money! We hope to see you all tomorrow evening.
