We have just received this information on Upper-Classmen scholarships from the Student Government Association.
TweetThe Student Government Association has the pleasure of awarding three separate $1,000 scholarships to recognize the contributions of undergraduate upper-class students to our campus. Upper-class students who have demonstrated exceptional involvement and service to the SLU community are encouraged to apply (awards, if won, will apply to next semester’s tuition payments).
The application is now available online; click here to download it. Applicants are asked to download the application, complete it as requested, and submit all materials simultaneously to Cheryl Kaufman in the Student Involvement Center in BSC Suite 319 by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, November 6th, 2009.
Only complete applications will be accepted Required materials include: a resume, two letters of recommendation, and a short essay. To apply, you must have at least 3.0 cumulative GPA, not be receiving a full tuition scholarship, and have completed at least 60 credit hours at Saint Louis University.
Scholarship winners will be chosen based solely upon merit and recognized at the November 18th SGA General Assembly meeting this semester.
If you have any questions or are in need of additional information, please contact Academic Vice President Thomas Chlebeck at tchlebec@slu.edu.
