Today the Department of Mission and Ministry launchs “A Time for God,” the Saint Louis University online prayerbook.
The site features prayers for every occasion, with easy ways to sort and search their offerings. The site covers many faith traditions and includes categories such as “Times of Need” and “Times of Praise,” allowing readers to find a prayer for that fits them best.
The site was created by a committee of representatives from across the university. Human Resources’ Lisa Terneus headed the effort while Student Development’s (and SLU Connection’s own) Chris Koerner designed the site.
Because the prayerbook is not a printed version, students, faculty, and staff are invited to contribute their own prayers to the site, both traditional prayers and original submissions. Currently, they’ve received over 100 new submissions, and the number is growing.
