New Student Group Seeks to Remove the Stigma of Mental Illness

Active Minds is a brand-new student organization at SLU that seeks to promote mental health awareness, advocacy, and education. The club’s mission is to remove the stigma associated with mental illness and to create a comfortable environment for an open conversation on mental health issues.

If you would like to work to increase students’ awareness on mental health issues, join them for their general interest meeting on Thursday, February 4 at 5 pm in BSC 253C. As this is a new club, there is a lot of opportunity to get on board and help it grow.
