Boeing Offers Scholarships to Develop Leaders in the College of Arts and Sciences, Parks College, and the John Cook School of Business

Applications for the Boeing Opportunity for Leadership Development (BOLD) scholarships are now being accepted.  Brandon Zollner sent in the following:

Ten (10) scholarships will be awarded in each of the following schools: John Cook School of Business, Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology and College of Arts and Sciences. To be eligible, a student must

  • be a sophomore (as of the beginning of the 2010 semester), junior, or senior (not graduating prior to May 2012) with a SLU cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.
  • have a primary major in one of the four focus areas: business, engineering, mathematics, and computer science and a secondary major, minor, or certificate in one of the four focus areas.  Students may have a primary major and a secondary major, minor or certificate in the same college or school. Preference is given to students who have formally declared their major.
  • have the potential to make a significant contribution to the University’s goal of providing a culturally, professionally and ethnically diverse learning environment. Preference will be given to United States citizens.

To apply, eligible students may print the application and submit it to his or her respective college or school.  Deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 5 p.m.
