Fuzzy-guitar rockers Disappears will play a free show tomorrow night, May 5, at The Billiken Club. The band .e will open for them. Doors open at 8.

This is the last Billiken Club show of the semester, so if you haven’t been taking advantage of the free live music on campus, this is your last chance (until next semester at least (unless you’re graduating (then it really is your last chance))).

Sun Smith-Foret: Final Cut

There’s a new exhibit coming to the Saint Louis University Museum of Art called “Sun Smith-Foret: Final Cut”. Sun Smith-Foret is a tapestry artist who uses the African-American textile technique of strip piecing to produce tapestries of bright colors, multiple patterns and appliqué. She uses this technique to depict her interpretation on classic cinema and popular culture.

The free opening reception for the exhibit is on May 6 at 6PM, at SLUMA of course. For more information, contact Mary Marshall at (314) 977-2666.
