Carnifall

It’s like a carnival, except in the fall…its a Carnifall!

Billikens After Dark, Omicron Delta Kappa, the Responsi-Billikens, and other on-campus groups are  bringing you the Carnifall! There will be pumpkin carving, carmel apples, photo booth photos, outdoor movies, and “Best Team Costume Contest” with either your floor, chapter, team, class, organization, or group.

With all this fun stuff it is going to be the biggest Fall Festival Event. So, go have some fall fun in the Quad this Friday (October 28) from 9:00p.m. to around 12:00a.m. Hurry before winter comes!

Fusz Day TONIGHT!

Did you notice something new dining over at Fusz? Over Fall Break,  new colors and décor were added to the dining hall. There are also some new tasty treats, including milkshakes, panini’s and wings added to Fusz menu. And it will all be revealed tonight from 4-8 at “Fusz Day.”

There will be KSLU DJing,  a raffle and give aways including a mountain bike, an ipod touch, and lots of other prizes.  Naked Juice will be here sampling and handing out free stuff as well. So cancel all plans (which should be easy with no ballgame to distract you) and come by!

ACE Info Night

Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) will be presenting an information session on Thursday, October 27, in the Dorothy Day Room in the Campus Ministry Center at 7 p.m. ACE is a two-year service program offering college graduates the opportunity to serve as full-time teachers in under-resourced Catholic schools across the southern United States. Because we believe that good teachers need excellent training, ACE prepares its teachers in an innovative M.Ed. program at Notre Dame. ACE teachers spend two summers (June-July) studying in the Master of Education program at Notre Dame and two school years (August-May) teaching in under-resourced Catholic schools across the country. While teaching, participants live in small communities of 4-7 members and together share the many challenges and rewards of beginning teaching.
