Art is full of expression and emotion: be it love, anger, sadness, and, probably the most interesting, dissent. Starting at the opening reception tomorrow, Feb. 10th the Saint Louis University Museum of Art (SLUMA) will be showcasing a collection on such a topic.
Different expressions of dissent, some subtle, some obvious, will be shown. The print pieces come from artists from all different periods and cultural backgrounds such as: Francisco Goya, Roberto Matta, Richard Hamilton, Ed Paschke, and other notable artists who deal with strife through art.
So come out to the reception tomorrow at 5:00p.m. to see this awesome exhibit. If you want more information or are interested in getting involved in SLUMA contact Mary Marshall at 314-977-2666 or visit SLUMA’s website here.
