9/11 Remembrance Service

SLU will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial and Prayer Service tomorrow from 8-8:45pm at the Clock Tower.

The service, co-sponsored by Campus Ministry, the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, and Beta Theta Pi, is themed “Everyday Heroes” and will focus on honoring the police, firefighters, and EMTs who responded on 9/11.

SLU’s assistant vice president for Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Roland Corvington, was the incident commander of the United Flight 93 crime scene in Pennsylvania and will be sharing a personal reflection during the memorial.

There will also be a candlelight vigil honoring all first responders.
