SPICE is a FREE ongoing speaker event, presented by the John Cook School of Business, to enhance the flavor of engineering education by bringing technology visionaries into direct contact with students and practitioners. The goal of SPICE is to influence the ecosystem by bringing role models in to educate the charms and challenges in realizing breakthrough innovations.
Help welcome their first guest Bud Albers, President of Interactive Technology Services, on Oct. 10th at 6:30 pm in the John Cook School of Business, Room 230.
Mr. Albers will share key elements on Technology, Innovation and the Future of Television - The basic in home entertainment experience, anchored by television, is changing. Something we’ve all grown up with and used almost everyday is entering a period of flux. There are multiple drivers and the pace of change in this arena is accelerating. This discussion will look at the drivers of change, the players and some of the potential outcomes to what is likely to become an epic industry battle that will effect us all.
