In order to increasing awareness to SLU’s single-stream recycling program and the introduction of exterior recycling on SLU’s campus, Facilitie Services has placed a large circular open bin in the Quad outside Griesedieck Hall. Today through October 30th, help them fill the bin up and view the new exterior recycling receptacle. Watch the progression of the bin filling up!
Over the next few weeks Facilities Services will add exterior blue recycling receptacles to the campus walkways. The next time you throw something away take advantage of the blue receptacles and recycle! Put paper products as well as metal, plastic, and glass containers into the blue cans. Toss trash, such as food, liquids and Styrofoam, into the traditional black “landfill” cans.
