The Cross Cultural Center will host its March I AM Discussion Series program on how to respond to biased and offensive comments this Wednesday afternoon from 4-5:30 in BSC 253 A&B.
Interrupting biased comments is an important step to creating a more inclusive Saint Louis University community. This special ‘workshop’ edition of the I AM series will provide participants with tangible strategies which can be used to interrupt bias that one may encounter on a daily basis.
About the I AM Series: Identity. Awareness. Multiculturalism. The “I AM” Series is a monthly discussion series that advances diversity awareness and understanding for the Saint Louis University community. These one-and-a-half hour sessions engage students, faculty, and staff in interactive and candid discussions on social justice issues and challenges related to multicultural competence.
