Just a quick heads up to any students thinking about buying some back to school supplies in the near future. This weekend is the annual Missouri Tax Free Weekend which means things like computers, clothes and supplies are tax free! For further information visit the Missouri Department of Revenue’s website.

Due to a generous donation SLU now has the beginnings of a formal Chess Club. Students who are interested in helping get the club off the ground contact the Office of Student Life (314-977-2805) or email Dr. Scott Smith. Faculty or Staff advisors are also needed! Know of any professors who are interested in helping? Have them contact the Office of Student Life!
Welcome week is less than a month away! This Fall keep your eyes open for the Oriflamme, a group of upper-class students here to help students move-in and be available during Welcome Week to answer questions and get everyone involved in all of the exciting campus events.
