Erin Weed, the founder and CEO of Girls Fight Back! will be coming to Saint Louis University on Monday, March 2 at 7 pm to talk about having fun on spring break while being safe.
Erin is an expert in self defense and will explain how to be aware of your surroundings and demonstrate important self defense skills all students should know when traveling on spring break.
The event will be in DuBourg in Grand Hall and is sponsored by the Panhellenic Council, but is open to the entire SLU community.

The Saint Louis University Public Law Review is holding its annual symposium on Friday, February 27. The symposium is at the law school, and all interested SLU students and faculty are welcome to attend.
Titled “Property Rights and Economic Stability: A Necessary Relationship?,” it will bring together leading scholars and practitioners to examine the relationship between property ownership and economic stability, both domestically and abroad. Speakers will discuss barriers to creating affordable housing, property rights in the international context, and changing definitions of property ownership in the United States. The keynote speaker is Richard Baron, CEO of McCormack Baron Salazar, and the title of his talk is “Urban Neighborhoods: Can the Stimulus Package Reverse the Course of the Last 40 years?”The keynote begins at 12:15 pm.
