SLU College Republicans and College Democrats Meetings This Tuesday

Hey, you politicos out there! Interested in joining a club where you can learn more about the politics of our day and get involved with causes that are important to you?

The SLU College Republicans will be having their first meeting on Tuesday, September 1, at 7 pm in Beracha Hall 121.

SLU College Democrats will also be meeting this Tuesday at 7 pm, but in Beracha Hall 211.

College Apathy was cancelled due to lack of interest.

College Whigs cancelled due to the Civil War.

Tribeta Biology Honors Society Meeting

Habitat for Humanity Information Sessions September 1 and 2

Habitat for Humanity, the organization that seeks to eliminate inadequate housing and homelessness, will be having two information sessions for students interested in joining the chapter at SLU.

Come by Carlo Auditorium on either September 1 or 2 at 7:30 pm for information about the club and the projects and events planned for the new academic year.

Billiken Buddies Program Information Sessions

The Billiken Buddy program is a student volunteer organization overseen by the Office of Undergraduate Admission. The main purpose of the Billiken Buddy program is to aid the Visit Office in their recruitment of prospective students.

Billiken Buddies host prospective students in their residence halls, allow them to shadow class, and give group tours of the campus. Members will be given the option to pursue leadership opportunities during their time as a Billiken Buddy. They will become eligible to apply for a paid University Ambassador position in the Undergraduate Admission office after one semester of participation in the Billiken Buddy program.

The information sessions will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at 3:30 pm in Dubourg Hall 117 and Thrusday, September 3, at 7:30 pm, also in Dubourg Hall 117.
