Saturday Watch Party for Billiken Basketball

GO BILLS! There will be a watch party for students in the Billiken Club tomorrow, Saturday, March 23rd at 6:10pm.  Doors will open at 5:00pm. Salsaritas will be open to help you get your game on!  Show your SLU pride by wearing spirit wear to the event – BLUE OUT again!
Prizes will be given out during commercial breaks.  No alcohol will be served in the Billiken Club.
 

Win Basketball Tickets for Saturday!

@SLU_Official followers can win two tickets to the last Billiken men’s basketball game of the season (Saturday, March 9 against LaSalle) at Chaifetz arena. Here’s how:

In 140 characters (or less!) tweet the single best moment of the Billiken men’s basketball season so far using #GoSLU starting NOW.

You must be a follower of SLU_Official on Twitter to qualify to win.  Make sure your account isn’t protected during the contest period, or they can’t see your tweet.

The fine-print stuff: Entries are limited to one a day. The contest will run between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. March 7, 2013 and 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. March 8, 2013. A team of judges will determine the winning tweets based on passion, creativity and general SLU spirit. The number of retweets your post gets will weigh in the judges’ decision in the event of a tie. Decisions of Saint Louis University are final in respect to all aspects of this contest.

This contest is conducted by Saint Louis University and is open to legal residents of the United States 18 and older. Prizes won by any prospective student athlete, any high school coach, prep school coach, two-year college coach, AAU coach or any other individual associated with a prospect are subject to any NCAA rules.

 

Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Tribute

Saint Louis University will be holding a tribute in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day tomorrow, Friday Jan. 11, at the Wool Ballroom in Busch Student Center. Festivities begin with guest arrival at 11:30am, followed by D.C. Cooper delivering the famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Other presenters include Rabbi Susan Talve and Rev. D. E.G. Shields, the St. Alphonsus Rock Choir, an awards and special recognition ceremony, and much more. Please join us for an afternoon of remembrance and equality celebration.
