Vote for Recent SLU Grad for “College Entrepreneur of 2009″


Kristopher Priemer, a recent SLU graduate, is up for Entrepreneur Magazine’sCollege Entrepreneur of 2009” competition.

His idea is about changing the way we buy purified water. Instead of using disposable containers, you could get your water at purifying stations, saving money and the environment.

Kiribati…It’s a Country in the Pacific

Just Earth and the Environmental Task Force would like to invite the entire campus to welcome back a SLU alumnus that recently returned from working in the Peace Corps!

She and her husband (a native of a pacific island) are coming to discuss Kirbati, an island nation which is, at its highest point, only 6 feet above sea level. The effects of global warming are obvious to the 200,000 people of this island as they are loosing shoreline quickly.

Their presentation, a part of Atlas Week, will take place Tuesday, March 31, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in Busch Student Center 253B.  

Make sure to be a part of this important event and all of the other great Atlas Week events!

Help SLU Alum Become America’s Next Top Model

Eleven finalist were chosen out of hundreds that auditioned for America’s Next Top Model in St. Louis last weekend.  One of those finalists was none other than our recent SLU grad Diana Emuge.

KPLR-TV (CW11) is letting you decide who will move on to the next round of auditions. You know who we want to vote for!

The finalist with the most votes will win a trip for a live audition with the show’s Casting Team.

The winner will be announced this Friday on News 11 at 7p.m.
