SAB Spring Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Registry

The time for donating blood is upon us once again. The Students Activity Board – along with Alpha Epsilon Delta, Alpha Delta Pi, and the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association – is hosting a blood drive in the BSC’s Saint Louis Room tomorrow, April 17 from 11 AM – 7 PM.

Remember, just one unit of blood can save up to 3 lives! Please schedule your appointment here beforehand.

Also, Be the Match Bone Marrow Registry will be present. (No Appointment Needed). Registration takes about 15 minutes from start to finish! Need more information on some myths and facts about giving bone marrow? Check out their site here!

There’s a blood drive tomorrow, Wednesday, February from 12 – 7 PM in the St. Louis Room, BSC. To sign up, visit redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code “SLU”. If you have any questions about donating, call (866) 236-3276. One person donating blood can save three people’s lives!

But wait, there’s more! AED and Be The Match will also be hosting a Bone Marrow Registry during the blood drive. It only takes a cheek swab to join the marrow registry and no appointment is necessary.

You can save 3 lives by donating blood. Alpha Epsilon Delta and the American Red Cross are giving you the chance to donate tomorrow from 12:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. in the St. Louis Room on the third floor of the BDC.

Don’t forget to drink plenty of water and make sure you eat something before you go. If you have any questions call 866-236-3276. Sign up to donate at redcrossblood.org and enter the Sponsor Code: SLU.

Rock ‘n Roll Up Your Sleeves! Blood Drive Next Monday

Get ready to Rock ‘n Roll up your sleeves!  Alpha Epsilon Delta/The Pre-Health Club and the American Red Cross are sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, February 28 from 12:00-7:00pm in the St. Louis Room (3rd floor, Busch Student Center).  Please consider saving 3 lives by signing up for an appointment to give either whole blood or double red cells.  The need is even greater due to challenges from the recent winter storm, so now is the perfect time to give blood.
