The ensemble will be gathered to play in the Saint Francis Xavier College Church and will start the performance at 7:00p.m. They will then be thrilling the audience with a range of pieces from Mozart’s Divertimento to Kansas’ Dust in the Wind.

Saint Louis University Theatre Presents Vinegar Tom

Saint Louis University Theatre’s last play of the season is Vinegar Tom, written by Caryl Churchill. Here’s what the theatre says:

Esteemed British playwright Caryl Churchill hauntingly examines poverty, gender, and power through the lens of 17th century witchcraft trials in England. Vinegar Tom is a witch tale with no witches. This parable of oppression and scapegoats challenges us to think about the role of modern-day women and our responsibility for the injustice that still exists in today’s world.

Showtimes are May 4, 5 at 8 PM and May 6 at 2 PM. Saint Louis University Theatre is located in Xavier Hall. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and SLU faculty and staff, and $7 for all students. For more information, call the theatre at (314) 977-3327.
