SAB and Billiken Dining are holding a “Wing Fling” – a hot wing-eating contest – this Tuesday, January 31 from 7 – 9PM. The contest takes place in the Fusz dining hall and costs $5 to enter.
If you aren’t competitive, don’t fret. There will be plenty of chicken for those not entering the contest too.

Every college kid loves food, right? How else are we gonna get that freshman fifteen, or sophomore twenty? Well this afternoon, that’s right, September 28, from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. there will be different booths along the main walkway in the Quad. They will be offering delicious “street” food for anyone with a token. One meal swipe will get you 8 tokens and since each food item runs from about 1-2 tokens each you will have quite a lot to eat.
Also, as college kids it is very important to eat fresh fruit and vegetables, especially if it is grown on local farms. Outside Terra Ve will be the first fall Farmer’s Market. They will have things like bell peppers, zucchini, squash, cheese, various fruit, and more. Now you can eat healthy at college!

SLU’s Student Activities Board is helping put on a blood drive during Homecoming week. It will take place in the Saint Louis Room of the Busch Student Center; Tuesday, September 27 from 12:00p.m. – 7:00p.m.
Walk-ins are welcome but it is more convenient to visit www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation and use sponsor code “SLU” to set up a time that works for you. If you are donating blood don’t forget your driver’s license.

Spring Fever 2011 is coming to a quad near you! SLU’s quad. Duh.
The Quad Festival is happening on Thursday, April 28, and SAB is bringing it with full force. From 4PM to 8PM there will be laser tag and inflatable jousting. A showing of TRON will follow at 9PM.
And if all that laser-tagging makes you hungry, food will be served from 4PM to 7PM courtesy of Billiken Dining Services. A meal swipe or flex points can buy you a delicious dinner!
The laser tag is free, the jousting is free, the movie is free, and the movie refreshments of popcorn, candy, and soda are free too!

Wednesday, April 27th at 7pm Cartel & Motion City Soundtrack will perform a FREE concert at Chaifetz Arena, sponsored by SLU’s Student Activities Board (SAB) as apart of their Annual Spring Fever Week!
Cartel is a pop-punk band best known for their single “Honestly” and for MTV’s Band in a Bubble experiment. Motion City Soundtrack is a pop-rock band best known for their singles “The Future Freaks Me Out,” “Everything Is Alright,” “Broken Heart,” “This Is For Real,” and ‘It Had To Be You.”
Stop by the Student Involvement Center (BSC 319) to pick up your FREE ticket. 2 Tickets per ID. Tickets will be available from 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday Till the day of the show. Tickets will also be in available in the quad from 11am-2pm the day of the concert!
