Light It Up Blue at Simon Rec.

Don’t forget to wear your blue this Monday to support Autism Awareness! This blue shirt will allow you to attend these fitness classes for free:

  • Lunchtime Yoga – Mind/Body Room 12 – 12:45 pm
  • Group Exercise – MPR One 5:15 – 6:15 pm
  • Physique Fusion – MPR One 6:30 – 7:30 pm
  • Spinning – Spinning Studio 7:15 – 8 pm

It is first come first serve bases so make sure you get there on time.

And now here are a few interesting facts about Autism:

  • A new case of Autism is diagnosed every 15 minutes.
  • More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes & cancer combined.
  • Autism is the fastest growing serious developmental disability in the U.S.
  • Boys are four times more likely than girls to have autism.
  • It is estimated that 1 percent of the world’s population is affected by autism, or 70 million people.

Mid-Season Masquerade

Hey what are you doing tomorrow night? Did  you know Billikens After Dark (BAD) is putting on an awesome Masquerade? Hang out in the Billiken Club from 9:00p.m. to 12:00a.m. and you can dance, take photos in a photo booth, and get free give-aways to your hearts content!

There is a DJ and it’s absolutely free how can you resist?

Puppy Love at Pius

It’s a proven fact that stress and blood pressure go down when you pet a puppy. And since finals are just around the corner – not that we need to remind you – the College of Arts and Sciences and Pius XIII Memorial Library are trying to help you cope with the hectic time with the wagging tails of C.H.A.M.P. (Canine Helpers Allow More Possibilities), a local volunteer organization of therapy dogs and their owners. In other words: The puppies are back! The puppies are back!

The canines’ wiggle their way to Pius from 2-4 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 12, and from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, the study day before finals. The dogs will be located on the second floor and the lower level of the library.

Talk Tuesdays at Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry’s Christian Student Fellowship is hosting “Talk Tuesdays” every Tuesday night this semester!

Talk Tuesdays is a group of undergraduate and graduate international and American students meeting to practice English conversation, form connections between international and American students, and help international students feel welcome in the American culture and at SLU. International and American students welcome.
